I don't really have a finite number. Ever since I planned moving, I have a bunch of them packed until I move to a bigger place.
But I must have at least 300 items altogether, ranging from * 4 complete series from the McFarlane Dragons, * Action figure, like the Final Fantasy Bahamut and Dragonhearts dragons * A good 50 random figures * 4 furniture like lamps * A dozen posters * 50 novels, The Dragon Knight being my favorite series * Games * 3 decorative plushes * And of course, a bunch of dragon commissions, the best one being framed and hanged to the wall
It first started when I was a kid and first saw Flight of the Dragon. It really marked me, the whole story about a man being somewhat turned into a dragon.
To me, transformation isn't a punishment, but the opportunity to experience new feeling and view the world through different eyes, sort of like the says goes, walk a mile in their shoes. That's why I never been a fan of fetish transformations, since most of those involves some loser transforming others out of vengeance or personal gain.
As time passed, I ended up enjoying game and stories involving transformation more than other theme. For instance, one game that greatly influenced Dragoniade's creation was Quest of Glory. My favorite 'death' of the game involved when you would try to hurt a stag and end up turned into one, along the one where you are to be turned into the creature reflecting most your soul and you end up as a dinosaur

Well, everyone needs a little change. Even if it is to another species.

And it kept going since then.
